Success Starts With You

Meet Seretha!
In January of 2022, Seretha was facing federal charges and battling addiction. She had estranged relationships with her children, was suffering from homelessness and lacked employment. That is when she found The Earnest House. She had little belief in herself and was afraid to take risks to better her life. Overtime and with the support of The Earnest House staff,  she began to rebuild herself. Through hardwork, dedication and a change in mindset, Seretha was able to turn her life around within 8 months. She successfully exited the program with her own apartment, a reliable car,  a successful job caring for elderly and a new found belief in herself. She has maintained sobriety and  begun establishing relationships with her 2 children. We are proud to support Seretha along her way.

Meet Pansy M.
On November 18, she moved
into the Earnest House. She
had been living under a bridge
and self medicating. She was
hesitant to live with others but
quickly formed bonds with the
other women on property.
We are proud to  share that she
moved into her own
apartment on January 8, 2021!!
Congratulations, Pansy!

Meet Cathi!

Cathi has been with The Earnest House for nearly 4 months. She recently spent the day with her 3 sons after not having seen them in 6 years.

She is clearly making steps in the right direction, for herself and her children.
We are proud of her and her commitment to her family. The future is bright!
